Guests are more than welcome. Contact Dave Harrison URGENTLY with your required menu(s) and a £5 deposit per person. The main meal will be served plated.

The cost is £17 per person and the time is 7 pm for 7:30 pm. Please come. Dave would also value any donations of raffle prizes.

New front riders

We need to expand our pool of front riders, so that every visually impaired member can go riding, ideally every Sunday. A decent number of people doing one ride a month eases the pressure on our dedicated members doing several rides a month. Please tell your neighbours, friends and workmates about our club's activities. Tell them further information is available on www.bury-tandem-club.org.uk or by ringing Derek.

Members' Phone Numbers

With the last runs list, you should all have received an up to date copy of all members' phone numbers. This copy is designed to be kept at home for reference purposes.

Emergency Phone Numbers

All active tandem riders should collect from the workshop a plastic covered set of current front and rear riders' home and mobile numbers. These supersede the old list in your black first aid pouch. In the event of breakdown (nervous or mechanical!) before or during a Sunday ride, these should enable immediate contact to be made with others. Please carry them in your First Aid pouch. Of course, this will only work if your mobile is switched on, ideally from when you get up on Sunday morning!

Handlebar bags

We have received a generous donation of four handlebar bags for our tandems. Dave H has fitted supporting clips to some bikes and bags will be left out in the Workshop for use on Sunday runs if the riders require them. Mobiles, waterproofs, extra clothing, snacks etc. could be carried in this way. All bikes will eventually be fitted with clips.
