Our Vote of Thanks goes to Lorraine and David Harrison for organising such an enjoyable and successful Annual Dinner on Friday evening February 25th. It was attended by twenty-nine members and members' guests who enjoyed an excellent hot four-course meal followed by bingo and a 'Millionaire' type Quiz. There were some very hard questions, and a generous raffle with lots of prizes - Margaret Carr's painting was a sure favourite. Our thanks go to everyone who donated raffle prizes.
The Annual BOLD Tulip Tandem Marathon takes place at Spalding, Lincolnshire on April 23rd 2005. Derek Pritchard and Mike Bigmore are to take part. Tandem pairs must include a VI rider. Entry forms are available on the internet at www.spaldingnet.com. Completed entry forms are to be sent to Mrs. Mary Clark, 101 Eastwood Road, BOSTON Lincolnshire. PE21 OPW. The closing date for entry is April 4th.
Are riders happy with the amounts of benefit to be paid out in the event of them suffering significant injuries? Riders are asked to check the amounts of benefit that they would receive from RiderBike Insurance together with any other personal insurance cover they may have and get in touch with Joyce if they regard the benefits as inadequate.(Each of us has a Policy Certificate - the last one was issued on 19 Oct 2004.)
